How Business Coaching & Consulting Works

Making a commitment to invest in Our Programs means taking a first big step in committing to build a better, stronger, more profitable business. It will take your time and focus to get it there, but once you create momentum the results will be worth the effort. There are no short cuts, but there are common business practices that must be mastered if you are to achieve the vision you have for your business and lifestyle. Your coach will help you identify and prioritize areas of immediate impact in your business, and then help you develop a plan for business stability and growth.

The Client-Coach Relationship

One of the keys to having success with our program is the client-coach relationship. We're here to advise, support, encourage, and help you create a plan that will move your business towards its goals, but it is up to you make it happen. Owning up to that responsibility is what makes great business leaders.

One thing business coaching is not is psychotherapy. Sure, emotions do play a role in how things get done, and we'll discuss them to an extent, but healing emotional pain is not the focus of business coaching. Our primary focus is to help you build a strong, profitable business, and a balanced lifestyle.

Finding The Time To Get More Done

It may initially seem overwhelming to take on all the tasks of building your business. After all, you probably already feel like you're working more hours than you ever wanted. With the help of your business coach you will soon learn that working more is not necessary, and working differently is.

Time management, delegation and accountability are the keys in helping the business owner get more work done with less effort. The first few months may be the most difficult depending on how willing you are to let go of certain tasks. Soon though, with a plan in place, you will be able to focus more and more time working ON the business rather than IN the business.

One on One Coaching Sessions

You can expect to have a one-on-one session with your coach either weekly or bi-weekly depending on the program you choose. Sessions can be in-person if local, or over the phone. During these sessions you and your coach will discuss your progress on strategies you're working on, challenges you're facing, set objectives, and prioritize actions that you need to take in order for you to be on course to achieving your goals.

Consulting Support

You can expect your coach to be available by phone or email during the week to address pressing issues that may occur between sessions. Consulting support can be in the form of time to critique output from strategies being developed, conduct meetings with team members, attend team meetings, assisting in developing tracking tools, marketing collateral, systems documentation, or employee selection, and meetings with clients or vendors.
